Work + Play: Spa Retreat

Freddy and I had the rather wonderfully bizarre opportunity to chaperone a student yoga retreat to a spa resort located on Lake Thun, just outside of Interlaken. Much to our delight, the resort was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed (Freddy couldn’t contain his excitement about the free bubby water available to guests on each hotel room floor), and we did our best to fully enjoy the facility in between chaperoning duties.

We got to participate in the yoga classes most of the time, too, including a very ridiculous acroyoga class (note the photo of Freddy upside-down in the gallery below). Watching Freddy attempt to “relax” in the spa was a good laugh, and we found the best thai food we’ve had so far in Switzerland at one of the hotel’s lake-front restaurants.
