Neither here nor there | September photos

Fall feels like it may be officially upon us — we’ve donned our thicker socks and sweaters, left Obi with other dogs in the slight rain outside the local market, and watched the leaves begin to change colors on our regular walking paths. Still, bright flowers dot the lower chalets of our tiny mountain town, and just enough sun peaks out behind the clouds for afternoon dog picnics and family walks. And every once in a while, a strange thing like a lost blueberry in the middle of a long stairway makes me smile. Want to know what made me smile biggest, though? A deliciously fun time canyoning in the Tine river, jumping and floating and simply “being” in the gorgeous canyon and rich water.
